Migrating from iBurst Wireless to iDSL

Not certain who the iBurst rep's here are so here's my question.
I am currently contracted to iBurst till end August but am finding the wireless service too erratic and slow, with horrible lag.
Now seeing as iBurst now also has DSL offerings would it be possible for me to simply switch my account from the iBurst wireless service it is currently to a DSL package and simply carry on with my contract?
Obviously I am aware that I will have to have a DSL line installed as well as purchase the necessary hardware and this is not a problem.
You help-desk seems to be confused by the concept as I keep getting transferred from one department to another with no one seeming any the wiser.

Okay, so no feedback.
I am not trying to get a concise explanation of the Higgs boson particle here, all I need is a simple answer on whether I can have my iBurst wireless account migrated to a iDSL account so that I can switch to a DSL line.
Is this really such a difficult question for iBurst to answer?

EDIT: See that a consultant will contact me, hopefully they are more knowledgeable that the people I had to deal with when I phoned the helpdesk yesterday.

I cannot see why iBurst cannot simply answer my question here as I am certain there are other wireless subscribers locked into their iBurst contract whom would also be interested in "migrating" to the dsl service.

Ok, so they did call me and it turns out, no they will not migrate any wireless account to a DSL package, however I can purchase a month to month DSL package from them, whilst continuing to pay them for my wireless subscription.
My iBurst contract expires in about 5 months and then they will be losing another subscriber, have already confirmed with Telkom there is a 512kbs seed available in my exchange and they only need 30 day's notice to have my line installed.
Let the countdown begin.

5 months is a lot less than my 12 months. :(

Good for you, 5 months is not too bad. Hang in there.

I'm sure by the time your contract ends, there will be even better prices/packages on ADSL.

Keep visiting myBB and 5 months will go by very quickly. Good Luck.
 
iburst account to adsl

Hey

Been on the phone trying to find out if i can convert mi iburst account to adsl but it seems nobody knows the answer. My contract is up from the 20th of may 2010 and whilst iam paying for the bandwidth i would like to use it. So is it possible for me to use my iburst account for the last 2 months on my adsl??

Also want to make sure that my account will be cancelled on the 20th may 2010. here is my ref no 00100152781

Have adsl account already with afrihost my iburst Contract expires in may. If they are not willing to switch me over to adsl for the remaining days of my contract i will just reverse the debit orders again so the ball is now in there court if i dont hear any thing by the end of the week i will just reverse the debit order
 
Conversion from iburst wireless to idsl

Hey, so i've been thinking i want to convert iburst to idsl
but the only problem is are you allowed to have 2 adsl lines in one household?
and i have to call telkom my self to set the line iburst wont do it for me right?
 
how pathetic these idiots are, they wont migrate the WIFI to IDSL ??? think logical idiots, give what the customer wants or lose the customer completely... Basic business.

Only 3 more months for me then im going 10mb screw this lag crap. Ever since 2010 Iburst has been nothing but headaches and excuses. i could be spending the same amount of money on a decent ADSL more dedicated then their overly used towers
