Hi,

So If I move to Cool Ideas from another ISP on Openserve, I either have to pay R999 up front, or commit to 1 year to get the migration for free. However, if I take the "free" option, then the migration fee is suddenly valued at R2700! If I cancel within the first year, I have to pay back pro-rata of R2700.

Is that correct - seems strange...

Cheers,
Greg

Yeap correct, the fees cover new installations as well. Pretty much all FNOs charge an activation fee and hence why those costs are there.

Okay, cool.

But if I'm just migrating, will I still have to pay pro-rata on R2700? R2700/12 per month if I cancel?

It's a flat model to make billing and products simpler, so either no upfront costs and stay for a year or pay the once off upfront. As you can imagine for us to front the costs so that customers leave after a month doesnt make much sense.

As mentioned this covers line installations migrations etc, to simplify things.
