Hey, I've currently got a ported landline number, and I'm looking to migrate across to Afrihost. How do I get that number (and the access) ported with my fibre migration?

Hello. If I understand correctly, has the landline number been ported to VoIP already?
Please note that you can still sign up for the Voip package you would like and migrate your fibre line; these orders will be treated separately.

OK, so I need to migrate my fibre first, then port the voip number? does the fibre migration have to have taken place prior to me actioning the porting?

No, you can order both at the same time. Is it an Openserve line?

It's an Octotel line...

I'm going through the process, but unsure why I would need to pay the R50 for the VOIP up front, when no migration has taken place? Surely that charge should apply from the migration date , like the fibre?

The R50 is for the package chosen, and the Call time will only be allocated when the VoIP number is active. I have sent you a private message.
