Mikrotic router not connecting to internet.

Hi having a bit of an issue with my setup at the moment, connecting to the interwebz.
My setup : Fiber line going to Mikrotic router number 1. From there I have a cable about 20m to an ethernet gigabyte smart switch. From the switch I have a short (1m) cable going to Mikrotic router number 2. This setup works perfectly.
Problem is router number 2 is not close enough to give coverage to part of the house. So I made another 20m cable to move it. Plugged it in same ports, but it cannot connect to interwebs. Says cannot find/get ip address on both 2.4 and 5ghz ranges. I bought a rj45 cable tester thinking it was the cable, but tester shows all lights working correctly. Anyone have any advice or ideas? Yes, so when I use the shorter cable, yep. When I use the longer cable nope.
