Mikrotik LHg LTE on Rain

Hi All,

I have done a search and can't seem to find a thread with a basic config for this Mikrotik device to work with rain, if anyone has any luck and can point me to a simlilar thread, please do!

Basically, my company has a brand new LHg LTE lying around... None of us are really familiar with Mikrotik devices unfortunately. A while back I spoke to someone who actually sells this as a solution for companies - This specific Mikrotik + the rain sim card.

I just opened the Mikrotik up and tried to get it working but alas I can't seem to get a connection. From memory, the gent said its basically plug and play with the default settings, I think he said I just need to put the APN settings in.

Is there anyone that has used this device that could give me anymore info on the config?

Depends on the existing config, but basically, define the bands you'll use, make sure it connects to LTE only, set up APN, and add the connection as default route. After that, set an IP on the Ethernet port, and go to firewall>NAT and add a Masquarade rule for the wan
