It depends, do you have a spare computer available? If not, you can always use the built in bandwidth logging util Mikrotik has. Log into your Mikrotik, to to Tools>Graphing click on the Add icon, and add a new graphing rule for all interfaces. Its not the best way to graph it out, but its sufficient. You can view the graphs by going to your routers IP address in a web browser and clicking on graphs before you log in.

RouterOS has a "torch" function that provides insight into what's happening on a specific port. This is a good way to start troubleshooting. You could have 2Mb of upload traffic you are not aware of. In your case that would kill your internet connection.
 
Unfortunately that is the best case for a "not useful" Mikrotik, its better than throwing them away (Those 1100DX4's are expensive).

The radios in those routers are so useless that they just fall over in town. Clients can't connect to them from the other side of the same room if they live in multi dwelling units.

This thread has been hijacked a bit, so I'll try come back on topic. If you're already plugged into the router via cable then a better router won't improve your throughput. Either there is congestion on your fibre line (so you aren't getting the full 20mbps), or there is too much other use on the connection. If it's the latter you'll need to increase your connection speed, or ask the others to dial down their usage.

Rather donate the Mikrotiks here or on Carbonite than throwing them away. There are plenty of people that would like to play around with them for their wired switching and routing capability.

Good idea. Perfect for a lab. That's how I learned Cisco back in the day. 1601, 2501 and a 3640.

So what router would you recommend for streaming on two TV BOXES on a 20/2 fiber line?
 
Depends on budget.

For 20Mb, Mikrotik hAP, hAP AC Lite or hAP AC^ if you're not too fussed about WiFi and you don't live in a MDU.

If WiFi's important and you have the budget, Mikrotik hEX POE or RB2011 or RB3011 with a couple of Ubiquiti UniFi AC (either Lite or LR - I have Lites in my home connected to a RB3011 on a 500Mb to us over Frogfoot).

If money's not an issue, Mikrotik 4011 with built in WiFi.

Remember one thing. If you want to stream, the streaming device must be connected to the router via a cable. Streaming over WiFi only works in the middle of nowhere, where there's no WiFi interference. Even a Ubiquiti UniFi XG or a 4011 with WiFi is still susceptible to interference. Contrary to what the salesmen want us to believe, you cannot create spectrum. There are only three 2.4GHz channels you should use: 1, 6 or 11. The others overlap. As for the 5GHz channels... You're competing with WISPs, WUGs and the local security companies streaming cameras. Chances are a Ubiquiti AirFibre or Rocket a block from your house linking a LPR camera back to a control room is going to blast into your house and mess with your 5GHz WiFi. In a perfect world, people would play by the rules, use "outdoor" frequencies for outdoor use and not crank up the Tx power beyond what's legislated, but we don't live in a perfect world. We often see camera backhauls with stronger signals in our clients' homes than they receive from the dual band AP located in the same room.

Why am I able to stream to TV, tablet and cellphone simultaneously without any cables?
 
I had the "classic" home wireless setup for many years which included consumer grade router, wireless extender and in the day of 4Mbps ADSL it worked and I learned to live with the odd wireless glitch. When fibre came to my area I decided to go for it and unfortunately the "consumer gear" did not cut it for me. I decided to invest in a Ubiquiti setup (USG, POE Switch and AP's), wow, what a difference this has made. No more wireless problems, I have complete control over my network and associated Internet connection as well as control over guest access. Had it not been for our friends at Escum, my router and wireless setup would be running for over 5 months now without a reboot.
Sometimes the routers supplied by ISP's are just not worth the aggravation in my opinion.
 
What speed do you think WiFi can reliably provide?
There are so many variables with wireless it's impossible to tell in a real world environment without testing or knowing the variables. Though theoretically 802.11n about 300Mbps and 802.11ac about 867Mbps on most guests.

Netflix recommends 5mbps for streaming HD (25mbps for UHD but OP only has 20 so that ain't gonna happen). Can WiFi deliver 5mbps because if it can then streaming over WiFi is very possible.

Also, hands up everyone who only streams to devices connected via cable.
