Hi all,

So I have been experiencing some serious packet loss the last week or so, especially impacting twitch and PUBG on the PS4 (I can post a link to youtube video to show how bad it is).
Now, I have looked through the Mikrotik's logging options, as I am sure it must be able to record Packet drops in the logs ... however, I am not sure exactly what triggers etc to use to get this right.

Any ideas from the clever network guys?

Not sure any router can log packet drops (packet loss?), your best bet would be to use smokeping or something similar to determine packet loss on a connection to a specific server.

That's the problem ... the issue is to Hyperscaler environments, from games/apps, so to know the exact IP address is an issue

I'll be the devils advocate, is the Playstation connected via Wifi or via Ethernet cable?

Setup a ping that logs to a file and setup a job that send that posts that file to a server
