Just do a hydrogen peroxide 10% flush- leave head cocked for a while and drain with paper towel after the fizzing stops. Don't do with a preforated eardrum.

I think putting chemicals into your ear is much more dangerous than using an ear pick...

Just go to the doctor, they do a soapy flush followed by clean or saline solution. Had my ears done many times as a kid after sticking things in there.

Doctors are to expensive and I am on a cheap medical aid...
 
My girlfriend is an Audiologist. She has explained to me that a normal ear cleans itself, and requires no maintenance if it is in a healthy condition.

The build-up of wax in the outer ear is normal, and actually protects your ear. Removing it stimulates over-production, which can lead to problems.

Also ear-buds and other devices merely push wax from the outer ear into the middle ear, and how are you gonna get it out from there?

Well I met a girl who is a nurse and she said colonic hydrotherapy is nonsense because the colon is perfectly able to clean itself and there is no such thing as accumulated toxins and impacted faeces and it requires no maintenence as a normal colon cleans itself.


Look. Audiologists are NOT ENT specialists.
