Mini Cooper cambelt change?

Hey,

Anyone know what the cambelt change interval is? Im at 90k km's so should I start saving. Also, how much does it cost and can it be replaced with a timing chain instead?

Your car uses a timing chain already. Good idea to ask BMW when you need to replace the tensioners.

Really? Thats great...lol I did some research initially but I thought only the newer Minis used timing chains. Mine is a 2004 model...

Hey, thats remind me of something I forgot to ask... My Ford Bantam and my 2005 Ikon, do they have timing chains or cambelts?
