Hi there, I bought my mother in law one of these linqnet mini DC ups'
For some reason I can't get it to work.
It came with a DC splitter. Both router and ont box are 12v.
If I use the splitter cable nothing powers. If I do single DC cable. It does.

Could the splitter cable be faulty?
The mini DC ups itself works fine.

The router and ont may both be 12v, but that's just one part of the story.. the other important part is how much amps the ont and router draw (typically stated on the power supply) and how much amps the mini UPS is able to supply.. if demand exceeds supply, this is not going to work..

1.5a router and 0.5a ont

The mini DC ups says 12v2a supported hmm this is a lot more frustrating than I thought it would be.

Edit: tried only 1x of the DC plugs, still nothing.

You are right at the limit there and you might find that (if the splitter cable is faulty and you use a known good one) it still doesn't work, because both devices powering up at the same time draws too much amps, in which case you would need to plug in one at a time waiting 30 seconds before plugging in the second.. once powered up, it's unlikely that the router would draw 1.5a unless it's got a million things connected to it..
