Mini on long distance trip?

Hi guyz, tomorrow am driving from CT to EL on a mini cooper. How comfortable is this car on road. Its not mine belongs to this lady am driving with, so never ridden or driven one ... wots your oppinion

You'll be perfectly fine. That trip's been done in Citi golfs/ford KA's/even my old opel kaddett which drank more oil than petrol on the way there.

Places to stop:

CT - Mosselbay 400km (Engen 10km before the town itself on the right hand side)

Mosselbay - Stormsriver Bridge 200km

Stormsriver - Colchester 250km

Colchester - Slummies 250km


Or if you want to gun it, stop once at plett/storms river, but why be in a hurry?

its a convoy of 5 other cars with friends to a wedding .. no rush probably lotsa fun

In that case, ride shotgun...(front, LEFT)....by the time you hit the destination, you'll be "well oiled" for the wedding...!!

It is a very comfortable drive (the S will be slightly less so due to run flat tyres).

Thats why I asked, with a BINI, easy, with a Mini only with a lot of patience and prayer. But still will always choose my Mini, it is not a car, it is an adventure...
