Mini PC for Fusion360..? Will this work?

Morning all. I'm looking at getting something simple to just do some light Fusion 360 work as a hobby with 3D printing etc.

Have been looking at the Gmktek M6 Ultra. Will this work? ( https://www.wootware.co.za/gmktec-n...EoRyL-O17DCfLskaflUWwkVd6cETvZ3UaAsRCEALw_wcB)

Budget really doesnt allow for much more than this.

Thanks.

I don't really see why it wouldn't work tbh.

You may get the occasional stutter doing the 3D stuff itself, but for that price point it looks relatively good in all honesty.

I know we hate Evetsek but I would get this for the same price if possible: https://www.evetech.co.za/minisforum-ai-x-1-255-ryzen-7-mini-pc/best-deal/23830

Newer chip with two extra cores, slightly faster iGPU (but both on parity), and you can use the Oculink port down the line for a dedicated eGPU if the workload gets tougher. Both should be good machines for this though.

I have an older 3rd Gen Ryzen Minisforum and love it so far, outlasted most of the NUCs I had from established OEMs and I especially like how open the BIOS on them are.

Noticed the GMKtec is loaded, really decent price considering the market. You can also use an eGPU with USB4 (hard performance hit) or one of its M.2 slots as well. Definitely consider it!

You'd need to put in 16gb and a larger ssd
