Long story short. Need to replace a micro-sim for a mini-sim to be used in a Samsung S5 Mini. On pay as you go. What is the best way to accomplish this and the cost without resorting to cutting up the existing micro-sim? And how quick can it be done? Don't want to be disconnected for more than a day.

Try an MTN store. They had these tools that cut the discard to size. They did it for my wife when she got a new IPhone.

Maybe I'm getting this wrong, but why the scissors? Isn't the micro sim smaller and you want to make it to a mini which is bigger?

Get an adaptor from a Vodacom shop. Some charge R50 for a pack of different sizes and some charge R100.

I think he wants to go from mini to micro. That's what I read from the title and the type of phone

Ah well, in that case it's the scissors if he's a real man, or one of the little phone repair shops who have a cutter, if he's a big girls blouse :p
