My Grandparents are having issues with their new installations, they had a old non-PVR dual view decoder, then the LNB got whacked and blew the decoder a few months back, now they have 2xHD decoders on a (I think) 60CM dish with a quad LNB.

They get intermittent signal issues, some channels are perfect while others cant be viewed, the guy who setup the HD decoders came yesterday and replaced the LNB because it seemed faulty. I just got told tonight that the problem is back.

Will a 120CM dish with a smart LNB help this problem?

To me it seems more like a lnb alignment issue rather than dish size. Try rotating the lnb a few degrees as normally if a few channels don't work it is because of polarisation. I have a 60cm dish and run dual hd pvr fine. I think the recommended minimum dish size is 80cm but mine is running fine with great signal.
