Minimum spec for ADSL?

Is ADSL worth it if your processor spec is under 1 ghz? What is the minumum spec?

CPU has little impact on ADSL unless you are using one of those lame cheap USB DSL modems.

The minimum is going to be whatever you are happy with. ADSL does not require a fast machine, certainly not Telkoms ADSL anyway.

The software you plan to run however may require a fast machine; a 120Mhz machine will not give the best results for counterstrike, but will be fine if you just want to view email.
