What is the minimum voltage the VBAT can have?

Noticed mine is a bit low after more than a decade on yee old pc, hasn't given any issues, just curious.

Just replace the battery if it is a problem for you? The RTC and BIOS flash storage requires the battery. You can buy one at your local Clicks

Replaced it just after making the post, was just curious as I thought it could at least drop to 1.5v min and still keep the BIOS settings.

Oh I see. Yeah depends on the battery technology but usually when it is that low, the battery is gone. It may seem like it is outputting 2.2v but that is with nothing pulling any current. As soon as you put a load on it that takes any current, the voltage drops down to nothing

Was working fine though, impressive if you think its been going for more than a decade.
