1. Is it profitable to hire a bitcoin miner from Nicehash or Miningrigrentals? My calculations indicate that one would take a loss regardless which size rig is hired. Am I calculating correctly?

2. If I had a complete pc with RTX2070 Super, would it be stupid to add another card to this (3060 unrestricted for +/- R12000) for a monthly profit of around R2500. Or should I sell the 2070 for R12000 and buy BTC instead? It is said that ETH will no longer be profitable in a few months but altcoins might still be.

Electricity cost is also important and not sure what you pay. If you have the right mobo you could add a 3060 but the hacked beta drivers only work if the card is on your main PCI slot. Most profitable would probably be to mine and pay the 3060 off as quick as possible and then when the next ETh upgrade probably beginning of next year makes it unprofitable sell the 3060 2nd hand for R 8-9k

Electricity will be free, I have a solar farm. The motherboard has 2x PCI 16 slots. I plan to add more devices depending on how the experiment goes. I am also thinking about renting out space on the solar farm for other miners but will first need to draw up a business plan.
