MIRC/ MSN Problems since the 8th

I would like to find out how many people are having problems connecting to IRC and or MSN. I have been having problems since they "moved" systems, or for those that got that e-mail about the scheduled Emergency Network Maintenance on the 8th.

MSN stays on for about 2-5 minutes if I'm lucky, and disconnects.

IRC mostly doesn't want to connect, and when it is connected. It stays up for about 5-10 if i'm lucky again.

I am capped, but this is a problem i've had even before i was capped. This is bull****, these apps use like .1 kb/s to keep themselves alive.

Yeah, I've also been struggling with MSN Messenger for the past few days.
 
Same here, actually I have had endless problems since they upgraded to their "magical" new system. Prior to that I had very few problems.
 
I've had very few, if any. There was a stage when I couldn't connect at all, but recently (last week or two) it's been very stable. That goes for Skype, MSN and Yahoo Messenger.
 
I also have had endless problems logging onto msn and irc. When the do decide to connect you get 5min usage at most than they disconnect again!
 
The same here with ICQ!
Every 5 minutes disconnects!!!

This is ridiculous! They restrict the speed, the bandwith and now everything else but http!

I think we need to protest officialy about this endless crap! Paying 10 times more for 100 times less, compared to the rest of the world!!! I am sick of it!
 
I am going to the offices today, have a meeting with shaun green, ill ask him these questions.

Let us know if they intend fixing it or I should cancel my contract and get back to the much more reliable modem connection ...
 
also noticed a sudden problem re IRC, I usually download a daily 10meg file off IRC, and have been doing for a looong time, an for the last few days Ive had to struggle to get it, without getting a 'software caused disconnection' msg.
 
use windows messenger instead of msn, it dosent eat away at your bandwidth as much as msn with all those useless 'pretty' features...oh and it actually works!
 
Well lets ask for our money back!! WBSm has endless problem company all day they've issue if its not with inform us, then what is it that they dont know how to run there network

i've been disconnected at least 13 times now from irc too!
wtf!!

they definately playing around with settings, ffs
 
MSN slower to initially connect these days, and often disconnect / reconnect. Actually, at the moment it doesn't want to connect...
