mIRC Problems

Hi all

I keep getting dc'ed from mIRC - error message is :
*[10053] Software caused connection abort
Any idea what could be causing this, I have tried reinstalling..
And it takes forever to connect to a network.

Get a different IRC client and test that first.

If it works then it was just mIRC that was messed. If still persists, then ure screwed
