Microsoft has just released an updated version of Internet Explorer 7, with some added features, and broader availability to more users. I trust to try compete with Firefox Windows Genuine Advantage validation is no longer required for the installation of IE 7, and is now accessible to any Windows XP users. Those who are already running IE7 will not get it again through Automatic Updates. The latest version can be downloaded here.
The above mentioned minor changes include the default visibility of the menu bar, the addition of a how-to series for the IE7 online tour with an updated overview for first-run users. Lastly, there’s a new MSI installer for simplifying deployment for IT admin in enterprises.
I can’t say I’m impressed as IE7 is still loosing market share to the ever popular Firefox and all the freely available extensions
