Mirroring....iPad adapter or Apple TV?

Hi, I have Netflix and Unotelly and the WD TV Live. I want to be able to mirror my iPad onto the tv but the WD doesn't allow for it. Which is better, an adapter and a long hdmi cable or an Apple TV? I think those are my only two options?

I make use of the ATV in mt room and lounge. that way i can mirror my iphones, mackbook, mac mini and ipads. when it comes to streaming content from itunes to apple tv its really smooth.

The only **** thing about streaming from itunes to ATV is that i think its only MP4 and M4V's that will play or rather that will show up on your ATV.

Id get the Apple TV simply because its such a great piece of art!

And... seriously... who wants to be restricted with a cable?

I agree! Trying to avoid cables as much as possible so I reckon the ATV is definitely the way to go
