Missing audio "Stereo Mix" HP 4520s Win 7 Pro 64bit?

I wonder if anyone else have discovered the " Missing audio "Stereo Mix" HP 4520s Win 7 Pro 64bit" yet. This IDT sound system when running Win 7 Pro 32 bit the "Stereo Mix" displayed as "Rec Playback" is present thus loaded with the IDT Audio Driver. This 32 bit IDT driver runs under 64 bit with some stabilty problems, it also makes the "Stereo Mix" available. The web search does not deliver an IDT 64 bit driver at all.

I wonder if anyone has sollution or work around as "stereomix" is used to record from the web and audio remastering for audio files on the system.

I found a solution to the problem by downloading "I-Sound wma mp3 recorder pro 7.0.2.0 ALt " from http://www.abyssmedia.com. This application is not freeware but does record audio from your speakers via the soundcard and does not use "Stereo Mix" at all.
