I made a mission statement for Sentech in another post...but it got me thinking. Does Sentech have a Mission Statement and if they actually do, what is it???

Maybe you know that ProAsm or one of the Sentech employees that read these boards? Or can someone email Dr Potgieter and ask her for it.

Those with a sense of humor, I would love to see what happens with this thread [:I]

Ouch...see what's on their website:

Vision
“Sentech will be a leader in providing world-class broadband communications”
Mission
6 imperatives form the Sentech Mission:

* Establish a unified next generation broadband digital platform to provide world-class communication solutions and services to our customers
* Define our market niches in which we will be the recognised brand leader
* Create and market innovative, value-adding products that satisfy the needs of our customers
* Align our internal processes and systems to enable us to be customer centric, taking cognisance of regulatory boundaries and fair accounting practices
* Encourage innovation, superior performance and self-development of our staff, who should be shareholders in a learning and caring company
* Earn market related returns and attract additional shareholders and investors to enable capital investment in order to grow the business

Values
Our values are firmly entrenched in our corporate culture. In line with this, we undertake to demonstrate:

* We practice integrity, honesty and fairness in our dealings with all of our stakeholders
* Quality customer service is the cornerstone of the success of our company and we endeavour to make every customer contact a pleasant experience
* We provide our people with opportunities to develop to their fullest potential by ensuring quality leadership, rewarding excellent performance and encouraging innovation
* We value the diversity of our people
* Our business is run with a commercial and customer-centric orientation

Mission Impossible comes to mind...especially the part that says:"Quality customer service is the cornerstone of the success of our company and we endeavour to make every customer contact a pleasant experience."

Makes me sick...

TRANSLATION:

Vision
"Sentech will be a leader in providing low class, overpriced broadband communications that rarely work. "

Mission
6 imperatives form the Sentech Mission:
* Establish a unified next generation broadband digital platform to provide world-class communication solutions and services to our customers, and make sure it actually works at least 15% of the time.
* Define our market niches in which we will be the recognised brand leader, and annoy them
* Create and market innovative, value-adding products that satisfy the needs of our customers, but refuse to support these products should anything go wrong
* Align our internal processes and systems to enable us to be customer centric, and by customer centric, we mean 'not give a hoot about our customers'
* Encourage slap-dash, superior performance and self-undevelopment of our staff, who should be a part of our ****ty service.
* Earn excessive returns, by overcharging and not providing enough bandwidth and do whatever it takes to ensure we look good to shareholders. God help us when the initial 24 months contracts end.

Values
Our values are firmly entrenched in our corporate culture. Oh boy they sure are! In line with this, we undertake to demonstrate:

* We practice integrity, honesty and fairness in our dealings with all of our stakeholders, when we feel like it.
* Quality customer service is the cornerstone of the success of our company, what a pity it's completely absent.
* Our business is run with a commercial and customer-centric orientation. That is, give us your money and shut the hell up about the problems. There are no problems.

Is this some sort of a joke? I wonder if we could hold them true to any of this cr@p. Where the hell is the honesty in lying about the state of a sub-standard service? Where is the integrity in lying to your customers everytime they call the support desk?

*sigh*
