Mistakes were made, advice wanted please.

Good day to everyone.

Long story short i live in jhb north currently holdinig A+ & N+ with a expired ccna cert.
Started my first job 4 years ago working for a retail i.t company holding all positions from intern to technician to manager and finally to callout technician.

Sadly i got very comfortable at this job and stuck around even without a working contract in place and through all the ups and downs of various owners. Finally the day has come that the store i was working out of was suddenly closed with just 3 days notice so i got the kick i needed to move on.

I really enjoy the networking side of i.t but sadly with the job i had i was mainly doing desktop/laptop repairs and never got to touch
a cisco router/switch. Doing callouts i did have to work on windows server to resolve a few issues for SLA clients.

My goal now is to follow the right track to become a network admin and to refresh my knowlegde of the ccna studies while starting to learn for MCSA. It seems there are more opportunities for people in the microsoft world over the cisco world.

Any advice or paths to take would be greatly appreciated.
