Mitel 3300 - Change Greeting?

Hi guys

Need a bit of help please.
We are shutting down for the festive season, I would like to do either of the following on our Mitel 3300 controller:

- Set the business-closed hours to ensure that the business is closed continously
- Or, set a custom greeting that will tell all callers to the switchboard line that we are closed

Any ideas?

Think ive still got a 3300 manual laying around somewhere, ill dig it out and have a look. Is the 3300 connected to a VoIP provider or Telkom ? If it is VoIP, you can set up the message provider side, which is real easy .

The way I understand it, there is a PIR to Telkom, but the provider bills for GSM minutes.

Cant find the manual but you may want to try this change the greetings by ftp ing into the 3300 ( via file zilla or similar programme). username and passwords are the same as the gui interface.
go to directory /vmail/c/vm/prompts/englishuk in here you will find files pday this is the main greeting and pnight this is the night greeting.
These files can then be transfered edited or renamed on the 3300 and a new file uploaded. Must be .vox
