Stated during a 2007 GOP debate: "…Is global warming an issue for the world? Absolutely. Is it something we can deal with by becoming energy independent and energy secure? We sure can. But at the same time, we call it global warming, not America warming. So let's not put a burden on us alone and have the rest of the world skate by without having to participate in this effort. It's a global effort, but our independence is something we can do unilaterally." Would support more drilling offshore and in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

This guy sounds like a Bush clone. Sod the environment, let's destroy the Arctic as well.
I think only McCain and the Dems stand in his way.
 
Yeah, he hasn't thought that statement through very well.

South Africa emits more pollution than America if you look at individual output, so I get what he was trying to say. He just had a Bush moment I guess.

What's driving Romney support is the economic worries. Unfortunately he is a populist. Flip flopping around like a dem :sick:
