Have you had them positioned properly? So that they are facing/pointing as far forward as they should be?

You do need to do this, especially with aftermarket Hid kits which if poor quality or poorly installed will be like glorified xmas lights. Hid if done properly typically needs the reflector replaced.

If you have a flat surface and wall you can pretty accurately DIY the setup but any decent panelbeater will have the setup reflector and tools/knowhow.

I'd remove the hid kit and just get the brightest bosch or Hella aftermarket globes for the original headlights, I can only assume that will be perfectly adequate on such a recent model German car.

This sounds like a oldish car are the lenses and reflectors clean?

I'd use night breaker plus over HID any day.

How much is a set?

Anyone know what the led headlight globes are like and cost?
