MKBHD's Blind Camera test (Result might shock you)

Some really interesting results. Im liking that the finalists are from either side of the price spectrum.

Mate 20 pro among the most expensive and pocophone is the cheapest aka flagship killer.

Just goes to show that spec sheet numbers, dxo scores and brand names mean nothing and that its very subjective in the end
 
This doesn't mean much, it only says that perceived quality (high exposure) reigns over actual quality.

That in itself says a lot, esp if most of "your" photo's are meant for social media. Paying $1000 for a phone does not guarantee that "your" selfies on Facebook is gonna look better than some other person on a $500 phone.

Sure if you looking for professional photo's that you going to 'shop and album it will make a different but not if you just shooting for social which 90% of the people do.
 
Very interesting. I liked where he showed the detail lost in a higher-voted pic - but as he said, it's a people's choice, and in the Twitter/Instagram viewing environment, the pics most people chose really do show real people in a better light (so to speak).

Getting time to replace current phone and camera is the biggest thing.
 
Few things I like to point out:
1) Every people views pictures differently and it comes down to personal preference.

2) It also depends on what device you viewed the pictures.

3) People are drown towards the more brighter picture like mentioned in video. I was also by some of the pictures.

4) I agree with one of the guys in video I also wouldn't buy a certain phone just because of a better camera.

I was completely surprised though. My picks were completely off.
 
Mirrors my real life experience - people prefer photos that are brighter and don't care about the detail available especially when there is a person in the photo.
