Wierd, running Vista with the latest version of that software and all the codecs and it keeps freezing and says it has stopped responding.

did you try the option i told you?
it stops responding when u tell it to encode right?
change the folder or create a new one and copy the source to destination drive
also dont change any options, it does not like that all
make sure when u encode something u have created a folder for it

Can convert .MKV to .MP4 with PS3 Video 9. Has a MKV passthrough mode which just changes the container and leaves video alone
