OK so since many MMOs are free, they are distributed via the internet. In fact, the majority of developers allow the client to be distributed free of charge. So I was thinking that we could post our links to locally hosted clients in this thread, instead of creating separate threads for all the different clients. I have seen requests in the past, and have posted them myself. There's no harm in having a comprehensive list ;)

Another handy thing to do would be to link to various patches for the games too. World of Warcraft patches, for example, are hosted locally and updated on a regular basis, which really saves on bandwidth costs!

List of games hosted locally:

America's Army
ftp://ftp.games.saix.net/americas_army/game

RF Online
ftp://ftp.is.co.za/pub/isgaming/FreeGames/RF-Online/Clients

List of patches hosted locally:

America's Army
ftp://ftp.games.saix.net/americas_army/patches/

World of Warcraft
ftp://ftp.is.co.za/pub/isgaming/Patches/World of Warcraft

If someone could please explain exactly to me exactly how I can go about uploading to a local FTP that won't randomly delete my files after a couple of days, I can upload a few that I have.

What I can upload:

Entropia Universe
Eve Online
Flyff
Rappelz (Epic3 - Current version is Epic4)
RF Online
Tabula Rasa (not an installation file...copy of program files)
The Lord of the Rings Online (not an installation file...copy of program files)
The Saga of Ryzom (currently the servers are shut down, sadly. May become Free to Play in the near future)
Trickster Revolution

Obviously uploading these on a 384K line will take some time, as not only is it slow, but I can only upload after hours!

I've tried them...pretty useless to be harsh :D They take an age to answer emails and they "don't have disk space."
