I just wanted to know what MMORPGs you people play and on what connection. Im currently playing Guild Wars on 56k dial-up

Some MMORPGs that look interesting and fun that I want to try out are :
- City of Heroes/Villians
- Everquest 2
- Lineage 2
- DnD Online
- Dark Age of Camelot
- WoW

Feel free to add to the list :D

Guildwars .....

Runs nicely on a SAIX 64K ISDN connection (constant probs on I.S)

currently playing on a Mweb 128/64 kb:

GW

played WoW and GW like 8 months ago but i gave up coz of latency issues, now it seems lagfree for the occasional spikes here and there.

would like to try D&DO to see how it fares.

I've played GW, Eve-online, Battelfield 2 using an Iburst Connection but i've given up on Battlefield 2.

I wouldn't recommend Iburst for gaming at all i'm afraid. ADSL is a much better option than any wireless

Played and Still got in boxes and collecting dust...

Lineage 2 (8/10)
World of Warcraft-USA (8/10)
FFXI Online (3/10)
Asherons Call 1 + 2 (2/10) Worst ever played
Everquest 1 + 2 Both 6/10
Shadowbane 2/10
City of Heroes + Villians 8/10 Both great games, however they are very laid back and dont expect much depth
Guild Wars Nuff said 8/10
Dark Ages of Camelot 9/10 Probably the best Team based PvP MMORPG out there still
Star Wars Galaxies 4/10 Bugs killed this, not played lately though.
Planetside (7/10) Very cool massive online FPS

As can see an MMORPG addict :p

Although i only play Lineage 2 now

All run fine on IS with Lowping from Nukecap (250-350ms to States)

Borgir, would you mind rating those games from 1 to 10. I LOVE your collection.

J_S, How is the lag?

Thankfully now lag is minimal compared to what it used to be.

I am often in fleet ops and fly a tackler inty with hardly any prolems.
At times you do get lag spikes but its something ive just gotten used to.

I downloaded the EVE client (build 3900), and got my 14-day trail key. Will install and play it later.

Is there a trail or something for CoH/CoV or lineage 2 or DAoC?

Yeah I'm also curious about CoH/CoV. It seems quite a good game from the reviews I've been reading. Got bored of WoW though :(

However what I'm really waiting for is the GTA MMO :D

They both good games but very linear...No Inventory, can only trade Influence(Skill points etc) and skill upgrades...It is very casual but fun!
Dont expect a WoW Depth in them (They both 1 game and 1 is expansion)
Awesome Character create, with costumes etc. Tons of Options.
You can fly, without limits, jump insanely high, depending on how you build your Hero...Very cool.

Just dont expect uber 1337 loot, or Purple Epic weapons etc :P Or ub3r omgwtdpwned gear. It is very casual and very login and fight.

NCSoft dont really trial there games, L2 only relased some Trials a way back but i dont have em anymore :(
Dark Ages of Camelot yes, there is a trial for EU and USA clients
