Mo Nice deals.

Just a quick question - bought a 750MB Campaign Paid Telkom Mobile Data for R 8.50 2 days on *123# this morning to test this feature... Have TelkomSA signal on FreeMe 2GB contract but data usage is deducted from my 2GB and not the 750MB??? Should I only use the Mo'Nice for month end topup after contract data is depleted?

Besides 450GB night data for R59 , I don't see anything decent when accessing *123# MoNice deals. Damn !

In fairness to Telkom (and I know it's now limited) but that night bundle is the BEST EVER prepaid offer in SA history.

But these offers are available only to randomly selected numbers and after you have been with Telkom for a minimum specified time period. All I am able to access is 2gb maximum for R25.

I have a Telkom sim that was set to the LTE broadband cost function that still has this 450GB deal , my day to day calling sim is set to Sim Sonke , and does not get this deal and pretty much just browsing type of deals.

How does one set the sim to the LTE broadband cost function? Is it a pricing plan?
 
Don't bother with changing tariffs. The deals seem to not care what tariff you on. Sim Sonke here with the 450GB deal on.

I always get these deals, and I always take the 5GB option when its needed.

I used to get different deals but I've had the same deals for the last 3 months. I only get 1 Telkom only data one which is 6.5gb for 10 days at R77 meh...
 
I bought a second sim to use in my wireless dongle when i use the internet on the pc, when i type *123#
it says that monice offers is currently not available for me, please dial *180# and choose data from the menu.

But that is just the normal offers.

It's been more than 2 days since i have the sim, on the faq they say it might take 2 days for the offers to appear, do they mean 2 working days ? What else can i try ?
 
It's pure hit or miss bro, keep trying though. As far as I know the mo nice deals were previously discontinued, however there was one R149 for 100gig night data that people have noticed and bought recently.
 
It looks as if Mo'Nice all net minutes don't work with Telkom landline numbers anymore. I'm sure those numbers used to work with all net minutes.
