Mobiflock is a parental control service written and intended for smartphones only. Calls, text messages, web browsing, location, applications and time spent on the phone can be monitored. Mobiflock also sends parents alerts via email and/or text message to notify them of particularly harmful activity such as cyber-bullying, sexting or sexual grooming. A timetable can also be used to limit phone use late at night, school or other places where cell phone use might be inappropriate. In emergencies, children under use of Mobiflock by their parents can always contact their VIP contacts, such as mom, dad etc. Location services using GPS technology allows parents using the software to see the current location of the child's phone, as well as where the child has been in a certain time period.
