Came across this software. I am sure we have all had phones that have been stolen before. Not sure if it would be legal though as this software will give you the ability to trace the persons that stole your phone, or at least his cell number that is. Has anybody tried this out?

MobiGuard locks down and disables a mobile handset if it has been lost or stolen.
The application sits in the operating system of the handset and can lock the handset with a simple SMS if the handset is lost or stolen. The handset needs to be unlocked by the user with a secure pin code or SMS before the phone can be re-used. Trial the full application free for 30 days!

Features:

* If the handset is lost or stolen when in operating mode, it can be disabled by sending a text message to the phone.
* If the SIM card is changed without MobiGuard being disabled, the handset will automatically lock.
* The handset will automatically send a text message of the serial number of the new SIM card which has been installed to a secure source you designate. The SIM number can identify the illegal user.
* The screen of the handset will display a message announcing the phone has been locked and the user should call the number displayed to have the handset returned to its owner.
* The handset can also be locked remotely by sending a message to the phone (and therefore to unlock it).

To accompany MobiGuard’s worldwide release, we’re inviting you to trial our full service free for a whole month! Then when the trial expires, we’ll send you an obligation-free offer to upgrade to pre-paid or subscription member. For more information go to http://www.mobipowered.com/mobiguard/

Please ensure that your mobile phone is configured to access the internet, you may have to contact your network provider to verify.
