I am writing to you on behalf of TAMTF (NPC), a not for profit organisation based in Johannesburg, South Africa. (www.tamtf.org.za)
The primary objective of TAMTF (NPC) is to put prospective employers of casual labour (Users) in touch with available casual labourers in their area (Candidates), with the hope of facilitating a casual employment engagement. By providing easy access to reliable and referenced casual labour we hope to drive employment engagements in the casual labour space.
TAMTF (NPC) does not charge, either the User or Candidate, for this community service as we do not want to limit the engagement possibilities between prospective Users and Candidates.
Please take five minutes out of your busy day and watch our introductory video at https://youtu.be/cCUnwt-LVn4
I am writing to you to appeal for assistance with getting our database and web portal up and running.
As we are a new organisation, we have very limited funding available and in order for us to proceed to the next step in our plan, we need to develop and deploy a database and web portal.
I am appealing to development houses, freelance developers and/or training institutions to offer their time and skills, on a pro bono basis, to get the core system (Phase 1) fully scoped and developed.
I believe that training institutions, specifically through this initiative, have an opportunity to offer their students both real world experience by working on a defined and managed project, as well as exposing them to the plight and challenges that a number of South African face on a daily basis.
Currently there are three Founding Partner Businesses that are striving to get this CSI project off the ground, they are;
• PolyWeld Mining (Pty) Ltd – A New Generation of HDPE Welding Contractor,
• Daleburne Consulting – For Professional and Cost Effective HR and Payroll Solutions,
• Variprint Systems – For bbusiness stationary, signage, special promotion and general printing, promotional products and clothing.
If you are able to assist us, or know of someone that would be willing to assist us in this regard, please contact me directly.
Regards,

James Tavendale
Chairperson: TAMTF (NPC)
