Best and worst mobile networks for the Gautrain

MyBroadband tested the mobile data performance on the entire Gautrain line and found that MTN and Vodacom performed best.

The Gautrain is a high-speed commuter rail system which stretches between Hatfield in Pretoria and Park Station in Johannesburg.

There are so many cell dead zones between Sandton and Centurion that I have given up using my phone for anything online. I don't know how Mybb tested but the only times I have decent connection is near the stations. Between Marlboro and Midrand are the most dead spots.

I would agree. Why not test between which stations have the most dead zones. This would be by far a better test than just checking speed.

Alternatively it would be interesting as to why no tenders are pushed to try and give mobile or WiFi coverage on the train opposed to just on the stations.
