Location:
Cape Town – Muizenberg.

Cost to Company:
Cost to Company package starts at R420k pa (R35k pm) and will be dependent on the skills and experience you can bring to the position.

  • Small team.
  • Client looking for a strong mobile developer to help grow the division.
  • Client deals with multiple large corporate clients within the employee survey space.
  • If you're active the office is close enough to do a run on the beach, have a quick surf or paddle on the vlei before work, during lunch or after work.
  • 5-day work week.
Position Overview:
We have a client based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town looking for an iOS Mobile Developer with 2/3+ years of solid development experience.

This is a contract position with the goal of developing into a permanent role after 3 months.

Qualifications:
Relevant diploma/degree will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code.
  • Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable native applications.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization.
  • Building user interfaces based on Swift or Objective C standards.
  • Designing web services for mobile applications.
  • Build highly interactive mobile applications.
  • Prepare mobile applications for the app store.

Ok double checked, while the client is looking for an iOS dev it would be beneficial if candidates have cross platform development skills.

My mistake should have clarified that, will update the brief.

There's also an ad for an Android Dev required for the same client.

Those kind of requirement lists are off putting. Looks like the employer doesn't know what they are doing.
