Mobile Networks - WTF

What is up with the Vodacom and MTN networks? My goodness, for the past two day's i have almost zero communication through either Vodacom or Mtn. I am starting to think that a satalite has crashed or something...

Any one else have this problem?
 
We have had no MTN, 8ta & Vodacom coverage for over 48 Hours in Richmond KZN....

Only Cell C is working.... Feel your pain.
 
... I hope it's not something seriouse like a freaking solar flair ... Ha ha ha
 
Nope, the backup batteries. Have been stolen by employees, the power cables have been stolen by the usual, the security folks are still celebrating Christmas, and the other SP employees are still on holiday ... , welcome to the reality called South Africa to-day ...

Normality will start to return next week - hopefully ....
 
I've been experiencing internet connection problems since Friday morning on my iPhone. Websites fail to load, Facebook doesn't load pictures anymore, not even the Ster-Kinekor app loads. However Whatsapp works perfectly and apps that require minimal data apparently.

Can anyone explain the cause of this or have a link to some kind of notice?
 
MTN has been awful since 3rd week January in my area.

The 3G at full signal's throughput is worse than a 56k dial-up modem sometimes. I am making sure MTN knows who I am, all day, every day :twisted:

Paying for something that cannot be used as intended is not my idea of money well invested :wtf:
