I'm so Goth, my wrists slit themselves
So now that afrihost has taken ownership again, what is going on with new mobile offerings ? Nothing has changed on that front, still waiting on uncapped or soft capped mobile offerings.Mentioned MTN is offering midnight bundles, weekly and by weekly bundles, even daily bundles.

So what can when expect some thing to happen on this front."We believe out current offerings is unbeatable and comprehensive." Isn't a valid excuse, I want more not necessarily cheaper, but offerings is slim, soft capped and uncapped offerings even rate limited accounts on mobile networks is none exists.

What so hard about offering me a rated limited 8mb or 4mb reduced speed soft capped account at a reasonable price, 8mbits even 4mbits is decent enough, and wouldn't be too hard on the infrastructure.

Heya wizardofid! :) It's great to be independent again! :) We really do have big plans for the future! Unfortunately, at this time, Uncapped LTE is something that is not immediately possible for us to offer seeing as we are still resellers of MTN. The more data you buy, the more expensive it gets and at this point, we're not interested in attaching any FUP to our larger Mobile data packages in order to be able to bring down the cost.

I personally believe that our smaller Mobile packages are excellent value for money and are mainly geared towards people who need the data on their smart devices to tie them over for the month. I'd personally also love to see larger LTE packages in the future and hopefully this is something we will be offering sooner rather than later. :)

You really ignoring the market of guys in rural areas or areas where DSL or fibre isn't available, oh well....

This is definitely not intentional. As soon as we can, I can guarantee you that we'll offer larger Mobile packages. :)

What about the price tag, bigger bundles means nothing if it ain't cheaper to get them.

This is exactly the reason we don't offer larger packages yet. :) As I mentioned above, we are resellers of MTN. As soon as Mobile data pricing starts dropping, we'll be able to offer cheaper and larger packages, until then, we don't want to have to adjust the AUP on our Mobile packages in order to offer larger packages.

It's getting frustrating to say the least, been with you guys for 7 months, and still have to supplement with MTN midnight data bundles to do downloads and updates, because 0.10c Mb/R100gb is still crappy.

What you telling me even with the good partnership you have with MTN you are still not able to neg, for special offerings for midnight data for example.I have said it before, MTN has all manner of bundles to suite every time of data needs, from hourly bundles to uncapped daily bundles to daily bundles.....sucky partnership or sucky business practices.

What is stopping you guys for neg with MTN for midnight data resell. ? Simply doesn't make sense even as a reseller of MTN, and MTN having had a big chunk of the company you couldn't manage to offer more then what you currently offer, as annoying as the question and opinion is on the subject matter, data resell prices being used as an excuse, considering you were in bed with them literally, does raise an eye brow or two.

What about brokering a deal with cellc for data resell even telkom for that matter.Just isn't practical to having to switch between APN's any more damn annoying to say the least.....
