Anybody here actually play games on a mobile phone?

I have this cool new nokia and I keep thinking maybe i'm wasting it's potential if I don't use it to play games.. like i use everything else to play games (my tv, my computer)

Are they worth it and are those sms this number things legit?

Yes and no.

As a generalization mobile games suck, but there are some really good ones.

DO NOT USE THE PREMIUM SMS SERVICES!!!!

That's most important, their content is rubbish and once they hook you they'll bleed you dry, rather just go to the MTN or Vodacom web site and buy games that way, then you get exactly what you want.

Gamespot, IGN and many other sites have large "wireless" gaming sections where you can get some reviews and suggestions.

Or you can search the internet. There are lots of games out there.

What Nokia do you have?

Only game i play is Poker Millionaire and absolutely love it. other than that i leave games to my laptop

Nokia n73

I have the nokia n73. Sweet screen and amazing camera.

It should play games really well.

I started another thread then suddenly realised you guys had answered my question already.

So those premium sms things are a bit like the etv porn sms's.. they keep sending you messages for weeks and weeks. Not that I tried them.

I found a non-subscription service for the Harry Potter mobile game which is made by EA so should be good. Will download it myself and see. Might as well start at the top.
