MOBILE PHONES

Depends what you want to do. Need just phoning? Browsing? Email? Office apps? Camera? Wifi? Internet sharing? Navigation? Etcetera.

One size does not fit all.

I dislike it when people dont state a budget when they want to buy something.

Lumia 520 phones were pretty good value for money. Not sure if they still sell them though. It is a Windows Phone though so if you are dead set on Android give it a pass. If not, see if it is available and read the reviews.

Rather wait for the Lumia 530, a Windows Phone is gonna beat any Android phone in core uses.

This "hardcore talk" started with the Lumia 800 and they're still at it.

*sigh*
Windows Phone 8.1 is a major step up, find me a similar spec Android phone that can perform the core functions of a phone without all the unnecessary bloatware.

Just disable the apps you don't like and it's gone.

Can you disable apps on Windows Phone?

Really that's your rebuttal, disable the bloatware that comes pre-installed on the phone which most of the time can't be done. Yes you can disable apps from running in the background on WP.

What is bloatware to you, might be useful to others.

That's why I like the option to be able to disable it if I don't want to use it.

Simple & easy.

Bloatware is any crap that's pushed by the manufacturer that serves no real purpose, Samsung's Touchwiz comes to mind.

I've never ever had a problem with Samsung Touchwiz, in fact, I really like it! :)

The calendar, video, radio, music, mail, fitness, etc. widgets are extremely useful and the Touchwiz UI is super smooth on my Galaxy S5.

Will be using this "Bloatware" for the foreseeable future, thank you. ;)

Touchwiz is not bloatware. It is just the user interface.
That same user interface that prevented the SGS 3 from getting the Kitkat update? Even the SGS 4 Play Edition performs better than the standard SGS 4.
