Mobile speed/throughput issues on TELKOM and CELLC

Yesterday evening I noticed that videos (youtube, reddit etc) was buffering a lot.

This morning it is just as bad. Doesn't matter if I switch over to telkom or cellc, both are just as bad as the other.

And it seems not to be location specific.

Anybody also experiencing speed/throughput issues?

Yes, where i normally see on TelkomSA above 70Mbps on my phone, it doesn't peak around 5Mbps now. Stanger/KwaDukuza on the North Coast area.

Mine always starts at 5Mbps now days and then slowly goes up till about 80 Mbps. Previously it started at 10 Mbps and then went up. Guess they changed the throttling config....

You know something is wonky when you see it shows 4G+ and get 5Mbps download.
