Anyone seen that Cell C is offering a USB modem for EDGE usage??

You get it free on a 500MB or 1GB contract..

Nice little device, takes the sim in on the side, has a small fold out aerial.

Huawei just launched one in the UK that supports HSDPA.

P.s Costs R350.00 for 500MB R499 for 1GB (Same as Vodacom HSDPA I think)

Huawei E220 HSDPA USB Modem

Managed to get hold of the SA agents. This modem will only launch in August, seems the cost will be much the same as the cost of the PCMCIA Data cards.

But I think it's better to get something with GRPS, Edge, 3G & HSDPA
