I got my new Billion 7300 to sync for the first time this morning, but only after unplugging my phone instrument. Now I have what looks like a splitter, but no microfilter. However, I understand that the microfilter is supposed to protect the phone, not vice versa. Where would I start looking regarding this issue?

Most of the "newer" splitters does include a micro filter. So your 1 RJ11 port that normally says ADSL on top goes into the router and the other RJ11 port that says LINE goes into your phone.

Thanks, but my splitter only has one dot and two dots, so I don't think it included a microfilter.

This could also be a coincidental issue, so I'll try reconnect the phone tonight and see if I can sync with it, before pursuing too much further.
