Modem Ethernet cable

Think you misunderstanding. Its the cable from a Mywireless modem to ethernet, not RJ45 both sides.

This is a bit of a problem... Anything with so called normal DB (D-type / Sub D-type) connectors aren't any problems that we can make, but the connector used here is somethng we will have to track Down first... Will have to phone suppliers and look for one.

Just make it longer

While laying in the bath  it came to me.... The end of the cable is a normal RJ45 (ethernet) that plugs into you pc, Right... Now how about a extension to that --- RJ45 Female to RJ45 Male...

So what it boils down to is you plug your existing cable into this and you plug the other end into you PC...

Let me know I get this for you ;) no problem...

Wow Okay ... Sorry for all the effort :o but that takes it out of my hands. You can then try and get a USB extension cable for a local PC Store. Like the PC Game world in Menlyn...

That I have, but its getting the pc connected to an ethernet socket not the usb socket as per the first post.

Its not a question of size but getting it in the right hole :p
