Modem Hangup?

Howsit guys,

This morning sometime while I was sleeping my modem log showed and error "modem hangup" it then disconnected from the ADSL line and reconnected with everything fine again. Do you guys know if "modem hangup" is caused by my modem that went into a "stale" state and restarted, or if it was caused by a fault on the line?

more than likely adsl just reset i think it does so every 24 hours
