I would change the Password on the account.
Who is the ISP?
Call them and ask them to give you the number of the person that is using the account.

Happened to me as well.
Cancel the account , its the only way avoiding blatant lies and profiteering from iburst.

Carry-over from previous month's data usage?

Escrow the router/modem with a lawyer.

If data usage still happens, you can take them to small claims court for fraud. They will have to explain how it is possible that the account was still in use even though the router's in escrow.

Keep it in mind that the login credentials supplied with your iburst router/modem is specific to that particular router/modem, and it is not possible (according to them) to use the same login credentials on another router/modem.

And, yes, account cancellation is the best way to show your displeasure.

i would cancel the account but i cba asked to sit on the phone the hole day trying to get hold of there accounts department. I tried for almost 2 weeks to get my personal iburst account canceled with out any luck and now had to revert to reversing the debit order every month. Even if i get hold of them juging from what i have read on the forums people are having a hard time getting them to cancel/upgrade or downgrade accounts.

it would seem iam being ignored.... well thats ok cause next step will be is to get my client involved in this and thats gonna be fun :) as they already hate iburst and this would be like striking a match and setting off a Piece of dynamite which i will not be near when it happens
