Modem Ownership

Well, after going through the contract with my attorney and speking to some frienda at Sentech the following has come through.

1. I dont belive you own the modem, but it is given to you on a rental basis, even after the 2 year period is up, the own it, your price just comes down,

2. The warrinty provided by Sentech is for 12 months, so if you modem blows, you have to replace it !

3. What happens if your modem blows, under warrinty, how long until a replacment, do you get a loan modem, and after the warrinty time ?

Please if anyone has information about this please post it !!!

This has been discussed at length before.

Your warrantee may be extended by taking the "extended warrantee", at R 14.58 per month, available from sentech. If you want to be 100% sure you own the modem, buy it outright from an agent.
