modem setup help....

OK, currently i am connecting on the internet through the following:

PC -> Switch -> Modem

I have 2 dail-up connection i created with RASPPOE and use 2 accounts(local and international)

My flatmate usually connecting to the swith from his room to gain internet access but he moved out and i want to connect my modem directly to my PC.

I'm not sure which settings he changed on the modem but i know he did, something about "bridged mode" or something. any help on reconnecting modem?

Yes, it is the bridge mode. You need to disable this and make sure your username and password is in correctly on the router.

Then you need to take out the IP addresses on your computer so that it will get them from the router and then it should work fine.
