Good Morning,

Been browsing the iburst site but cannot see the speeds attached to packages, ie: 10+ package come with usb modem but no indication of connection speed.

Please assist.

only the silver surfer can give a maximum speed of 2Mbps the rest of the modems on iburst have maximum speed of 1Mbps, no mater which package you on

IIRC, you can pay in a bit extra every month and upgrade to a better modem.

1Mbps USB modem to 1Mbps desktop modem = R40 per month

1Mbps desktop modem to 2Mbps desktop modem = R80 per month

iBurst is broadband and uses a shared radio spectrum on a bts of 24 Mb/s.

You will not obtain 1 Mb/s each and every time you do a speedtest. (BTW: A guaranteed service of 1 Mb/s symmetrical is upwards of R4k a month).
